Zombie Eradication Response Team is The United States secretive Tier One Zombie hunter and unconventional Zombie warfare special missions unit.This force is commonly known as Z.E.R.T.
The Zombie Eradication Resonse Team was formed under the Department of Zombie Eradication (D.O.Z.E.) a clandestine government entity that became public after the outbreak, “Zulu hour”. Since there is no record of origin for this unit, any and all remaining information is still classified. It is a guess to the unit’s activation date.
Z.E.R.T.’s Primary tasks are; counter Zombie operations, hunter killer missions (HK) and national intervention operations. Although it is an extremely versatile group capable of assuming many covert and unconventional Zombie warfare operations, Z.E.R.T’s ultimate goal is to destroy the undead with any necessary means available.
Z.E.R.T. is known to be comprised of 9 or more active Squadrons;

XC Squadron – Western Canada
YC Squadron – Central Canada
ZC Squadron – East Canada
United Kingdom
R Squadron – Ireland
S Squadron – Scotland
T Squadron ( Tiger ) Britain
Q Squadron – Australia
V Squadron – ( Viking ) Scandinavia
G Squadron – Mediterranean
It is rumored that smaller “mission specific” teams operate within these known Squadrons. The word “Juggernaut” and the letters “S.D.S.” have been linked to these so called “mission specific” teams.
